As H.O.D of Outdoor Education it is my privilege to take groups into the outdoors.  I have many years experience working in the outdoors and have an Outdoor Instructors qualification as well as spending much of my own time in the mountains.  Currently at school I run camps for mainly the Year 10 group but also spend time with the “Young New Zealanders' Challenge” planning tramps and trips.  It is great seeing a young person’s confidence and self belief grow through success in the outdoors.
