Tauhara College’s fashion extravaganza VIBE16 was a great success on Friday night. It was a night of glamour, drama, music, dance and fashion for the packed house. Tauhara staff and students modelled latest fashions from local stores Village Squire, Is This Love?, Gordons, Milly Black, K and K, Gigi Belle, Flirts, B’Jammin and Kilt. The models responded like professionals to an enthusiastic, involved audience. Spectators were asked to strut the catwalk in their James Bond themed outfits in the hope of a Hilton lake Taupo voucher and judges chose two immaculately themed winners. Co-directors Jane Saunders and Shelley Kirkwood, who have produced four such occasions, were thrilled with the evening and thank the local community for its huge support.
