| Western Shine
Western Shine is at present on his 10 week placement with Plateau Restaurants. Western enjoys working with food and holds down a part-time job with the restaurant.
Plateau has been so impressed with Western’s attitude and keenness to learn they have now offered him an apprenticeship. Well done Western.

Jono Clerke
Jono Clerke’s interests lies in mechanics and he is at present on placement at Truck Stop.
He enjoys working in this field and has been asked to work in the school holidays, gaining extra valuable experience in his chosen area of interest.
Jono is popular at his workplace and he enjoys working with a great staff who involve him in all aspects of the job.

Sophie Levao
Sophie Levao’s has an interest in small animals and her placement is at VetPlus. Sophie enjoys going to her placement and has been able to watch several operations and help the vet nurses in their routine duties at the clinic.
Sophie is working on Unit Standard 5148 – monitoring health and provide husbandry for cats Level 2 Credit 5.
Next term Sophie will be placed with a Sign Writer to explore her second passion.
