 School Life

You will meet with the International Student Dean on your first day.
You will take an English test and choose your subjects.
You will also meet your buddy student who will help you adjust to school.

Tauhara College students are interested in foreign cultures and languages.
The school teaches Japanese, French, and Maori and many students learn these languages.

They like to make friends with international students and are helpful and friendly.

The school offers a wide variety of extra curricular activities, such as sport, music, performing arts, culture, outdoor education, and national and international trips.  Participating in these activities is a good way to meet other students and make friends. So, international students are encouraged to participate in as many extra curricular activities as possible.
