Julie from Germany
Hi, I’m Julie. I’ve been going to Tauhara College for nearly a year now. There’s heaps of stuff to do for international students. For instance, we went on trips to Wellington, Northland, and the South Island. I joined the school badminton team. The people here are really outgoing and funny. So if you think about going to New Zealand, this school rocks.
Joakim from Sweden
Hi. My name is Joakim. I have been in Tauhara College for 2 terms and have 2 terms left. I felt more welcomed than I expected because of its great programme for international students. I was selected for the rugby 1st XV which has given me the opportunity to spend time with people from school.
Carolina from Argentina
Hi, I’m Carolina from Argentina. I have had a lot of fun at this school. I’ve done a lot of trips around Taupo, to Rotorua and the Waitomo Caves. I’ve done things like kayaking and rafting. I play soccer and volleyball for the school. Tauhara College has lots of fun things for international students to do and for the 5 months I’ve been here so far I’ve enjoyed every day.

Hello, my name is Dong June. I’m from Korea. I’ve been here for a year. I like the school and Taupo very much. I have good friends and teachers are very kind and helpful. My host family is great. I can learn English fast here as there aren’t too many other Korean students.
