To our students:

As Deans we are charged with upholding school standards. However, we will always be fair and will work with you to ensure everyone has a productive year. Although we may not be one of your classroom teachers, we will be visiting classes, leading levels meetings, joining you in fun activities and will be available whenever you want a chat. Your ongoing support for us and your peers will set us all up for a great year in 2012.

We will be moving through the school with you as you progress through your years at Tauhara College and we look forward to getting to know one another. Successful education is about a partnership between teachers, management, students and parents.

Successful education is about a partnership between teachers, management, students and parents. We therefore are also looking forward to working with parents to ensure the best possible outcomes in your child’s education and for their wellbeing.

Secondary school is a place where your child gets out as much as they put in. There are many opportunities for your child throughout their five years at Tauhara College and often they just need some encouragement in the right direction to get them started. Together we can ensure your child makes the most of the opportunities that arise.

We are looking forward to working closely again with this year group .
