In Careers we focus on the “where am I going?" aspect of a student’s progress. Knowing the direction you are heading in, is essential if a student is use the opportunities offered at the school and achieve the best results.

We work with students both in the classroom and individually with a focus on goal setting, exploring the world of work and making decisions about future career directions.

Students are kept informed about job and training opportunities through visiting speakers and advertising Open Days and Taster Courses at training institutions.

• The Careers Room is in the Student Centre opposite the Gateway room.
• The Careers advisor is available to students throughout the week during specified class times and on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes. 
• Parents are more than welcome to contact the Careers Advisor at school to ask for information or make appointments either during the day or evening if that suits.
