Lawn bowls at Tauhara College is slowly catching on as a sport that is proving to be very popular amongst young people in New Zealand.  The laid back atmosphere and strategic thinking required, makes it an enjoyable and challenging non-contact sport.

Fortnightly ‘roll ups’ take place throughout the year at the picturesque Taupo Bowling Club where the school is fortunate to have the services of Bob Duncan who generously gives of his time to help coach.  Students have the option of either playing just socially or they can compete in tournament play with other schools in the Bay of Plenty region.
